Quotations and Orders for Products/Services
If you have requested to receive a quotation from us for one of our products/services, or made a decision to purchase one of our products/services; you will be asked to provide information so that we might process and create a quotation or complete your order/purchase.

Your name, phone number, email address, invoicing address, and delivery address if different from the invoicing address. We will not collect any information that is not relevant to providing you with a quotation.

Why is it collected ?
We use this information to create a quotation or complete your order, help prevent fraud, keep you updated on the progress of your order, and help us deal with any issues you might have, including after sales service and customer support.
We may also use your email address to send you Larrington Trailers related notifications, such as promotional messages, information about Larrington Trailers products and/or services, and to share exciting Larrington Trailers news. This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract we have with you.

Customers
If you have purchased a product from us, you will automatically be classed as ‘a customer’.

What Information is collected ?
Your name, phone number, email address, registered company address (where applicable), and whether you opted-in to receiving our newsletter.

Why is it collected ?
We use this information to enable us to provide you with effective aftersales support, to legitimise any potential warranty claim(s) and as a means to contact you regarding any potential problems with your product (such as product recalls). This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract we have with you (at least for the duration of the products warranty). If you have opted-in to receiving our newsletter, we will also include you in our newsletter database (more on that in the newsletter section).

Registering your Product(s)
If you have purchased a product from us, you will be required to register as its owner. This is done by use of the warranty form (which can be found in the back of the owner’s manual), or through the product registration form on our website. If you have purchased one of our products second-hand, we would recommend registering as the new owner using the online registration form.

Signing up for our Newsletter
If you have opted in to receiving our newsletter either through our website or other social media outlet(s), or by conversation with a member of staff at Larrington Trailers.

Why is it collected ?
We use your email address to send you Larrington Trailers related notifications such as promotional messages, information about Larrington Trailers products and/or services, and to share exciting Larrington Trailers news, you name is only collected to identify the email address as being yours.

Contacting Larrington Trailers

We would normally collect information on the people responsible for looking after us as customers; such as the names, contact numbers and email addresses of account managers, sales teams, accounts, and ‘point of contact’ personnel.

Job Applicants
In the event of applying for a job with Larrington Trailers, we will collect any information you have submitted to us so that we may process you application.

What Information is collected ?
We will collect contact information such as your name, email address, phone number and social media identifier (if contacting us through a social media channel), we may also collect the content of your chat(s) and other communications with Larrington Trailers. A copy of your Curriculum Vitea (C.V) and all information therein, including any will also be stored on our system.

Why is it collected ?
This information is collected so that we may process your application of employment effectively. We will use contact information supplied to enable us to respond to an applicant. (email, phone or social media). In the event of an unsuccessful application, we may still keep your information on our records as to enable us to consider you for any potential future job openings.

Employees
If you are employed by Larrington Trailers, we are required to collect and process certain personal information about you. This is covered in your Contract of Employment and the Staff Manual.

How is Personal Information used ?

Larrington Trailers use the data we collect to provide you with the best possible aftersales/product support, and to communicate with you; for instance, to inform you about new Larrington Trailers products / services which are similar to products you have previously enquired about/purchased, inform you of any product recalls you may need to be aware of, any promotions currently being run by Larrington Trailers which we believe you might be interested in.

After-sales and Customer Support
We use data to respond to customer enquiries, help diagnose problems a customer/user may be having with one of our products, and to provide other customer care and support services. This processing of data is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you, as well as to serve our legitimate interest.

Security, Safety and Dispute Resolution
We use data gathered to help detect and prevent fraud, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. This is important for both ourselves and our customers, and necessary to serve our legitimate interest.

Communication, Marketing and Advertising
We may contact you by email to inform you of new Larrington Trailers products or services, to update you on a support/ after sales issue or to invite you to take parts in a survey. This processing is necessary to serve our legitimate interest.

Is your information shared ?

No, as a general rule Larrington Trailers does NOT and WILL NOT share or sell any personal information about our customers with any third parties.
The only exception to this is in relation to new and/or ‘prospective’ customers, as well as existing customers who fall within one of our ‘Approved Dealer Network’ partner areas. In such cases we may share your data with these third parties to facilitate the creation of quotations and/or orders, along with ongoing service plan(s). But even in this case, we will NEVER share your information with any of our approved dealer network partners if you have requested us not to, or if they have not certified that their processes fully comply will with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When legally required, strictly necessary or to protect our rights or the rights of our users, we may disclose your personal information to law enforcement authorities, investigative organisations or in legal proceedings.

We ensure any cloud services used provide adequate security measures, including the protection of your data using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) during transmission over the internet, and these cloud service(s) are also hosted/ located in the EU. None of the information stored on any of our cloud services are transmitted outside of the EU.

Retention
Larrington Trailers will retain your personal information for as long as we deem it necessary to enable to comply with applicable laws (including those regarding document retention), to provide services to you, resolve disputes between any parties and otherwise to allow us to conduct our business.
